Zusammenfassung
Es wird von einem 76jährigen Mann berichtet, dessen Symptome dem Cronkhite-Canada-Syndrom
zuzuordnen sind: Diffuse gastrointestinale polypoide Läsionen mit typischer Histologie,
ektodermale Veränderungen (Alopezie, Onychodystrophie, abnorme Hautpigmentationen),
Diarrhoe, enteraler Eiweißverlust, Hypoproteinämie, Elektrolytverlust (Calcium), Abdominalschmerzen,
Gewichtsabnahme Die Befunde werden mit denen der bisher beschriebenen Fälle verglichen.
Anhand einer Tabelle wird eine differentialdiagnostische Information über die Polyposis-Syndrome
gegeben.
Summary
A 76-year old man with the Cronkhite-Canada syndrome is described. He had diffuse
gastro-intestinal polypoid lesions with typical histology, ectodermal abnormalities
(alopoecia, onychodystrophy, abnormal pigmentation). There was also diarrhoea, protein
loss from the gut, hypoproteinemia, electrolyte loss (calcium), abdominal pain and
loss of weight. The findings are compared with those of previously described cases.
The differential diagnosis from other polyposis syndromes is tabulated.
